ASGI (Sciabaca project) submitted a series of requests for access to public information concerning projects implemented by international and non-governmental organizations in Libya, Niger, Tunisia and Egypt, financed with Italian funds from the so called “Africa Fund”.
Activities in Libya : an overview
Based on an analysis of the answers received, ASGI compiled an overview on the activities in Libya of WHO, UNHCR, IOM and UNICEF financed by the Italian government.
ASGI also submitted access requests to Italian NGOs’ activities related to Libyan detention centers financed with Italian funds.
